Thirty years ago, in a dusty two-horse town, a single moment set in motion a mission that would become Liberty Builders.

A World War II veteran, J.C. Bailey—who fought in Korea—handed me a small, unassuming booklet: The Citizen’s Rule Book. With eyes that had seen war and a voice full of conviction, he said,

“Read it. We need more patriots.”

Those words lit a fire in me that has never burned out. That moment wasn’t just about a book—it was a call to stand for something greater.

Over the years, shaped by J.C. and the many veterans whose sacrifices and wisdom I was privileged to know, I came to understand the true meaning of duty, freedom, and the responsibility we all share to protect America’s founding principles.

Liberty Builders exists because of men like J.C.—men who didn’t just serve their country, but charged forward so that the next generation could stand tall in freedom.
